A government institution responsible for managing national data was receiving hundreds of data requests annually from researchers, policymakers, and the public. The entire process was handled manually — requests came in via email, were tracked in spreadsheets, approvals were obtained through phone calls, and fulfilment had no consistent structure.
The result was long turnaround times, inconsistent communication, no audit trail, and limited management visibility. Staff spent significant time on low-value administration instead of actual data work.
Hyperlinque designed and built a digital data request management platform. The platform allowed requesters to submit structured applications online, provided a multi-level approval workflow, automated notifications at each stage, and gave administrators a centralised dashboard to manage all requests.
The institution moved from a completely manual process to a fully digital, trackable system. Turnaround times improved. Staff administration burden reduced significantly. Management gained real-time visibility over all requests. The process became fully auditable and consistent.
Platform built using Hyperlinque SYRA — workflow and approvals architecture.
